Heroes

Four years
That's what they call a long time
I've waited so long
To seek and to find
A place where I belong
And a home I can call mine

We search all our lives
In the hours of light
For the meaning that exists
For our destiny to take flight

Heroes
That's what they call those
With a noble cause
Who understand what they're meant to do
Who knows
What to do

Can you be a hero?
Can you be there when it all ends
Can you assure me with your soul
That you will be a hero?

Four years
We've hidden in the shade
We've been sheltered by umbrellas
But now, those shadows will fade

For the time to call our own
We will be heroes
We will take the frontline
We will know

Heroes
That's what they call those
Who gives without thoughts
Who does what is needed
Without doubts

Can you be a hero?
Can you be there when the time comes?
Can you assure me with your soul
That you will be a hero?

Four years
We've changed
None have become heroes
But now, we know what we have to do

Because we were given
By the greatest Heroes of all
Who assured us when the time came
Who found us when we called

Can you be a hero?
Can you be like them?
Like the ones who assured us with their souls
That we would be heroes.

Sigh, and I thought the poem was inspired by the 'O' Level English Free Writing topic!

Anyways I think I was quite clairvoyant to have come up with a similar topic for the Prelims :)

And by the way Wai Min, how come you are so free to blog? Are the O's officially over for you? :P~

And back to the Heroes thingy, yes it's good that Channel 5 is FINALLY screening it in lil' Singapore but it's a tad pathetic considering that Star World has already finished running the whole of Season 1 plus there are already 4-5 episodes of Season 2 available for viewing on the Internet. Well, I guess better late than never, especially for non-cable owners :)

You gonna be swinging by Cineleisure on Saturday to catch the cast members?

Heheh... Yeah, I think RV teachers are amazing. How do the teachers do the predicting thing?

And HOHOHOHO I have always been very free. And I am kind of sad that the number of entries in here are 1/10 of my blog's, so i am trying to create some sort of balance. That's why I am spamming this blog with all sorts of stuff:D

I don't think I'll be going there. The crowd's gonna be CRAZY. The cast was at Vivo on the day of teachers' day celebration and Vivocity was practically flooded with crazy fans!
