Letters from Iwo Jima

Haha.
Ah Kiat, as usual, did very morbit things again for the fun of it...
He must be excited over the blood-gushing-out part when the americans blasted the Japanese.
It's quite a nice movie but it does not have a real climax.
However, at least it showed us how it is really like in a battle field;
The inevitability of death as a soldier and he cannot run away from it;
The pain experienced by the civilians and the soldiers' families.
I could feel the pain when the soldiers sacrificed themselves for their country.
It was a touching movie but it carried some ironic ideas and some humour.
I was quite surprised that it was not very pro-Japanese even though it was filmed in the perspective of the Japanese of World War II.

<3 janice =)

Oh ya, class, please remember to sign off your name at the end of the entry that you've posted.

Haha I told you the movie doesn't have a climax before the movie started.

ACtually, do you know why? Coz the movie's just very exciting! Every part is a climax (sounds wrong?)
